The Dimensity 1200 SoC Will Overtake Snapdragon 865

Snapdragon 865, MediaTek announced the new Dimensity SoCs that will surpass the
Snapdragon 865 smartphone processor.
Dimensity
1200 is the name of the processor that is creating a ruckus in the smartphone
market. If you are keeping up with the computer chips world, you must be aware
of Apple’s A14 Bionic chipset that was concluded as the fastest smartphone chip
globally. Soon after Apple’s reign, Qualcomm took the smartphone market’s upper
hand with its newest Snapdragon 865 processor. Once again, the IOS and Android
platforms were subjected to testing as YouTubers, and tech experts compared the
two processors regarding their speed, performance, bench-marking, and load on
the processors.
While
COVID-19 halted the new development throughout the world, the smartphone market

see that the most powerful smartphone processor is clutched once by MediaTek.
The
Dimensity 1200 will outperform the SoC’s Snapdragon 865, which is the fastest
and most robust smartphone processor in the market right now. Snapdragon 865 is
the latest Android smartphone processor, and it is the most expensive one as
only high-end smartphone companies are using the chip inside their most
expensive smartphones. Currently, ten smartphones are equipped with the

2021, Motorola Edge+, iQOO 3, ASUS ROG Phone 3, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2, OPPO
Find X2, OnePlus 8 Pro, Mi 10, Realme X50 Pro, OnePlus 8T, and Mi 10T series
are the only smartphones that are rocking the Snapdragon 865 SoC. Most of these
phones are expensive because they offer high-end performance and speed for
next-gen smartphones. The Snapdragon 865 is a powerful processor, and it was
clocked at 2.84 Hz, making it the swiftest smartphone processor in the
Android market. The Dimensity 1200 is the successor of the Snapdragon 865 by
MediaTek. The premium range of upcoming smartphones will enter the market with
Honor V40 series, Vivo, Oppo, Realme and iQOO, and Huawei.
Dimensity 1200 features and capabilities
The
Dimensity Dimensity 1200 will be revamped from the ground up. Though it will be
based on the same architectural design as the Snapdragon 865, sources suggest
that there will be a significant improvement in the speed, performance, and
durability. There will also be some improvement with the integrated 5G
technology to enhance the modem for 5G technology. Thanks to Dimensity 1200
image processing improvements, the upcoming smartphones will take better
pictures with more pixels and better image stabilization.
Honor V40 will be the first smartphone to release with Dimensity
1200
HONOR
V40 will be the first smartphone that’ll be equipped with the Dimensity 1200
processor, and it’ll be released in China from 18th January onwards. The Honor
V40 series has three smartphones, Honor V40, Honor V40 Pro, and Honor V40 Pro+,
and all of them will be shipped throughout China with the latest Dimensity 1200
chipset. In the GeekBench score, Honor V40 acquired 468 points in single-core
testing and 2061 in multi-core testing. With 8 Gigs of Ram and an octa-core
Mediatek Dimensity 1200 SoC, the latest Honor V40 series will be the best
smartphone for all the techies as it will be the fastest android you can own in
2021. However, users have to wait for a few weeks as the Honor V40 series will
release after a few weeks from its initial release in China.
